NEW YEARS 9-PIN NO-TAP SINGLES HANDICAP TOURNAMENT (JANUARY 1-2)
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Dates: January 1 - 2
1st Place Prize: $1,200 (based on 150 entries - 1 out of 10 entries cash)
Entry fee: $30 total ($20 prize fund, $8 bowling fee, $2 expenses)
Squad Times:
Saturday 1/1: 12:00pm, 1:30pm, 3:00pm
Sunday 1/2: 1:00pm, 2:30pm, 4:00pm
COMPLETE TOURNAMENT RULES/GUIDELINES
1. All bowlers MUST hold a current USBC membership card.
2. ENTERING AVERAGE: highest average for the 2008-2009 season unless 2009-10 average of 21 games is 10 pins or more higher as of December 15, 2009. If no 2008-09 average, use highest current average of 21 games of more as of December 15, 2009. If no established average, both male and female will receive 220.
3. Handicap is based on 80% of the difference between bowler's average and 220 for men and 90% for women.
4. USBC rules will govern all decisions.
5. All prize money to be returned 100%. Prize ratio will be at least 1 out of 10.
6. Bowlers are to report 30 minutes prior to start of shift.
7. Walk in entries will be allowed until 30 minutes priot to start time ONLY IF lanes are available.
8. Re-entry will be allowed as many times as squads allow, but you may only cash twice.
9. Late bowlers will receive a zero (0) for each frame missed. No frames will be made up.
10. USBC Rule 319C "tournament prize winning" will be waved.
11. Tournament committee reserves all rights and all decisions are final.
12. All prize money will be mailed within 30 days of the end of the tournament after averages have been verified.
